1966!. Around the time of their San Francisco visit they were moving from the rock and roll they'd started with to the west-coast rock, complete with the drugs and "uniform" that went with it!. For reference, "Revolver" was released that summer, and "Sgt!. Pepper" the next spring!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

When they really started exploring with drugs and exploring other religions (not saying one had anything to do with another)!. It was a period where lots of bands were doing it!.!.!. The "Hippy" era and then when the it is said "When Rock and Roll just became Rock" lots of bands like the beatles and the stones went ditched the dashikis and hashish and got back to their rootsWww@QuestionHome@Com
