do you like this little story book i wrote for the mayan counting book!? it's homework!.!.!.tell me if something doesn't make sense, or if mayans don't do what i say!.!.!.!.!.!.
we finished one pyramid today,
and then carved two stones,
designed three tattoos,
and went to a burial and found some bones!.
i also found some rocks to pound bark paper, too
and then i made 6 earrings,
and used 7 avacados to make stew,
and then we also harvested 8 cacao trees,
we worshipped 9 gods,
and then at the end of the day i ate 10 tortillas
the book has a guy's face with a speach bubble, and then a picture of what he did, ex!. carved two stones, picture of 2 stonesWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think this is an acceptable children's book!. The rhyme pattern is slightly off, but if you are being graded on creativity, you might get an A!. I like the idea of counting, and I think you were brilliant in incorporating different aspects of Mayan culture!. Maybe if you wrote different lines for the use of numbers 4 and 5, you would be able to fix the rhyme scheme and give a more clear description of Mayan life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Very innovative! Do try to come up with something for four and five - they're already there - just fiddle with it a little!.
It doesn't HAVE to rhyme - just flow - and yours does!.
Make sure you spell check - I noticed a couple misspellings in there!.
You SHOULD receive a good grade - for ingenuity if nothing else!. I'm not a Mayan expert, either!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
You need to have every line with a number, seeing as it's a counting book!. also, you should give it a rhyme or more flow so the children (I presume that's who you are pitching to)remember the numbers!. I advise rhyme, it stays in your head easier and longer than flow!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
