at the bottom of the page you'll see a picture of the russian soldiers raising the flag over the Reichstag in Berlin!.

But something is wrong with this!.

What is wrong with this picture!?

the photograph is soviet propaganda, it is staged!. the man who really reached the top of the reichstag with the soviet and his divisional banner fell out of favour with the soviet leadership and was removed!.

[edit] wristwatch or wrist compass missing from the second soldeir, possibly because he had looted it, its there in the original!.

Don't confuse a Soviet battle flag with the national flag!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was astaged photo the same as the marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima!.
The big difference is that it only took one Soviet soldier but six marines!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was dark by the time the Soviets reached the top of the Reichstag so it was recreated in daylight!.

And all the troops in the streets are standing in the open, tanks have open hatches – not possible/likely if a firefight is going on!.

And the star should be red with a gold border!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
