O!.k!., as above go to your local library!. also you could try going to your local museum!. Censuses are good sources, as are ordinance survey maps, both of which should be in the library!. If there are shops on your street, then it may be worth looking in Kelly and White's directories!.

Should you wish to search on the Internet, search for the 1901 census, you will be able to find some information there!.

Probably not on the internet!. You will probably have to go to a Planning Commission or whatever that is called in the UK, in your town for that!. Or if you have a local historian there that would be handy!. We have one in our town!. The public library here has local history of our town and some of the streets!. You'll probably have to resort to books or manuscripts or at least something written!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your best bet would be a local public library and local newspaper!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To find the information you require, your best source of information will be your local library where they have everything on microfilm!.

Another source of 'local' information is your local newspaper!. Local 'Rags' (newspapers), esp!. here in UK keep archives going back to their first day of publication!.

You can try one more time using Google by asking your question as follows : -
