Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Wow, there's just too many to name!. However I would like to pickup where the last answer left off!. I agree with him 100 percent however I feel as though our lowest points have been our attempts to excuse ourselves from those three events and countless others, not the fact that they even occurred in the first place!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I can't narrow it down to just one!. Here's three: 1!. The genocide of Native Americans 2!. Slavery 3!. Japanese internment camps during World War IIWww@QuestionHome@Com The Dred Scott case in 1857 when the US Supreme Court ruled that slaves had no rights under the Constitution but were merely chattel!. Unfortunately the US constitution was written in such a way as to protect slavery, or the southern states would not have joined the union!. Free citizens were protected under the Bill of Rights, bit not slaves!. After the US Civil War, the northern states passed amendments to the constitution to abolish slavery, and make the former slaves citizens with full protection under the law!. Sadly 600 000 Americans died to correct what should have been written correctly in the first place!.Www@QuestionHome@Com People can get on here and name things for you but this question will vary among people depending upon who they are and how they think!. Eisenhower warned Americans of the war machine and to beware of it!.!.!.!.!.we didn't listen!. Lying to the public is hardly new but the way George Bush did it, by saying Iraq had WMD's and that they played a role in 911, then later saying Iraq didn't have WMD's and they DID NOT play a role in 911 just made me sick!. The economy was in such great shape after Clinton left office, everyone was prospering!. I know this is just my opinion and that adultery is very bad, but it was so much better to turn on the news and hear about Clinton's shenanigans with Lewinsky compared to turning it on today and hearing 10 GI's killed in Iraq or how Bush has lied to us this week!.
