- The Marshall Plan rebuilt Europe, but all the manufacturing for it came from the US--everyone basically had a job!.

- Because of that, everyone wanted to have a car, a home etc!. Post WWII was the beginning of "tract homes" or the suburbs!.

- The GI bill for education meant that millions of men (mostly) who would not have gone to college were able to go, and establish middle-class lives in just one generation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
