Arms limitations in the early 1900s?

Question:anybody know arms limitations movements they did in the early 1900s to try to limit the amount of arms produced by each country? three ways / treaties/ etc would be good but anything u have would help . also if i have how it would relate to now that would be great . thanks to all answers=]

The Hague Conventions of 1899 was signed by all the major powers of the time. In it was the baning of chemical warfare and the Prohibiting Launching of Projectiles and Explosives from Balloons or airships. Prohibiting On the Use of Bullets Which Expand or Flatten Easily in the Human Body. The Italians went against this treaty when it used airships to bomb Turkish troops in the Italo-Turkish War of 1911.
