I'll give you ONE thing from the '60s.

In the '60s, we had no computers hooked to the internet, where you could find everything you need in an hour or less. We had things called libraries and books, where it took hours and hours to find what you needed.

One thing we did have in the '60s that doesn't exist today is a work ethic.

A petrified McDonald's hamburger (12 cents then). Kennedy's assassination. The other Kennedy's assassination. Moon landing. MLK's assassination. Forced integration of schools. Three astronauts killed on the launch pad (betcha didn't know about that one. Google Gus Grissom.)

John Wayne, Natalie Wood, Lassie, Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion, Jay North.

That is a lot of work...To put it simple, the effects of the 60s is all around you today, Civil rights, women's rights, gay rights, consumer protection, environmental protection etc. Young people spoke their minds. Some names come to mind...The Beatles...JFK, RFK, MLK, LBJ and Cassius Clay!!!

Summer 1969 was known as 'The Summer of Love' and it was also when the famous festival Woodstock was.
Twiggy became one of the first supermodels.
1969 moon landing.
1966 England win the world cup.
