Position:Home>History> Major events that happened between 1980-1989?

Question:I'm reasearching for a timeline project, and if anyone could just give me a little help. (Just 1-2 words to give a name of an event that impacted the U.S. during this time so I can research it.)

Thank you!

Everyone who helps, please give thumbs up to the other people, as I'm not lvl 2 yet, so I can't.

Again, I would prefer to do the more detailed research myself, I'm just looking for names of events. (Such as an election/presidents name.. 9/11... etc.)
