We'll still have 50 more years of war there at that point, if McCain wins.

Bigger mistake than Vietnam

Depends who writes it...

US books will definitely be twisted...

war started because of a big lie .

so many lives wasted

a country of magician........robers

our brave men liberated Iraq and banished the tyranny from their land, suffering heavy losses the evil dictator, Saddam Husein fled, the might US army was yet again victorious.

(OK, it sounds more like a bad novel than a history book. :))

It will say it was a low point in US foreign policy . It will say it was an illegal war . It will say we violated the Geneva convention . It will say we brought a new dictator to power . it will say Iraq still hates us for invading .

it depends; American schools would teach their children that they liberated Iraq from the dictature of Sadam etc
and that they established democracy in that country ,but, Iraqian and all the others are conscious of the reality of that war , it was a big mistake, which caused and is still causing calamity of people
may be the war would still continue 50 years from now, but I'm curious to know the pretextes
