Position:Home>History> What was the name of the kalinga king whom ashoka defeated in the kalinga war?

Question:What!? This is unbelievable! Being Indians, you put me to shame. You guys can't even place historical figures in their correct eras?

The first answerer says Krishnadevaraya, who was king of Hampi in Karnataka, in the 13th Century AD, whereas Kalinga was in the 2nd Century BC.

This is really shameful, you have to improve your history.

The name of the Kalinga King was Kharavela.
