Question:What does "Back Channel" mean? This is referred in the Cold War with Khrushchev.

A back channel is thru a private or side method of communicating...Kennedy does not communicate with Krueschiev, but sends a message thru, say, the Swedes.
This allows some privacy, and also deniability.
