Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It was Great Britain, France, Russia, Spain and the U.S. later took over Spain's claim as part of the Adams-Onis Treaty of 1819.

Great Britain, France, Russia and Spain

PS I googled "Oregon" and went to Wiki, which then led me to "Oregon Country," the name of the area before it became part of the US as a territory.

Russia, Spain, England and US. Not sure about England.

Great Britain

France (could be completely incorrect here)

Colville Indian Nation (well, it was a stretch, but had to throw that in anyway)

United States

Spain

Russia (prior to the sale of Alaska to the United States, thanks to William Seward)

Mexicans and French voiced a weak claim over Oregon, but now... no nations dare to claim a land in the midle of US. It's unrealistic and impossible demand that US would ever consider unless it's a life or death situation... and US has enough military to protect herself from foreign threats.

The US (obviously) Britain, Russia and Spain.
