There were plenty of newsworthy people during that time not really heroes ask your teacher which do they want. Newsworthy stories at the time of course were those about Al Capone, Sacco and Vanzetti, celebrities of the time as in Mary Pickford etc., even non humans such as Rin Tin Tin (included as a celebrity I believe). Pershing and the Presidents of those years (Coolidge, Hoover). I left out Harding because his was an administration rocked in scandal. I hope this helps.

Come on this is easy just google "famous people of the 1920's"

Herbert Hoover, Charlie Chaplin, Art Deco, Louis Armstrong, George Gershwin, Robert Frost, Ernest Hemingway, Henry Ford, Amelia Earhart, Warren G Harding,

Thats just few off the very first page.that came up.

Marcus Garvey
