he was one of the greatest ppl ever to set foot on earth....if not for him i would have many less friends

    he was a great man , too bad several of his followers ( NAACP ) have taken things to the extreme .

    He is one of my heroes! IHe did a lot for the black race. I wish i could've met him. You can shoot the dreamer, but you can't kill the dream!

    He asked America to live up to the greatness of its promise, to the greatness of the words in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution; but there are racists in this country who are determined not to let America become as great as it can be. Those same mentalities will not go for an Obama presidency, even though it is obvious that he is the best candidate and can do the most to begin to heal the racial wounds in this country and get us moving on to greater heights.

    He was a great example of not using violence for a cause too bad he was snuffed out before his time... someone like Jesse Jackson is not a good example of a peaceful activist since he's more like an instigator for the African community...and MLK was no instigator.
