If we end with 1915, I would have to say that they had achieved limited success. In terms of work rules, they were blocked from making their reforms national until their reemergence in the 1930s and the New Deal. Their successes came at the state and local level. On a limited basis, they were most successful in child labor and women's labor laws, less sucessful in workingmen's unemployment, minimum wages, and disability insurance plans and pensions and workplace safety. Other reforms that they achieved were tremendously successful and dramatically changed how we lived. For instance, making it the government's job to inspect food and especially inspect milk for children to drink, test drugs, provide running water in houses, inspect housing, provide public education through high school...these were all progressive led initiatives of the last century that did have an impact on the daily lives of workers and their children.

I think they were successful... O.o

Direct Election of US senators
secret ballot
less political machine leadership
prohibition of alcohol (lol)
FDA is formed
Square Deal of Labor
Trust are busted, less monopolies
etc.

The work conditions of the workers had slightly improved but they were still suffering, working 12 hours daily and without medical prestations.
