Contact your nearest Church of Latter Day Saints. They keep extensive genealogical records of people and their families going back hundreds of years. They practice baptism for the dead so everyone can be "saved" and they research the origins of families to achieve this goal. The Jewish community is very upset because of the practice of baptizing their dead relatives as Christians when these Jews only believed and practiced Judaism. I have a friend who was able to trace her family tree back to the 1600's by using the Mormon genealogical library. If you want they will even make available records that are stored in Utah and will send them to the church nearest you. They must be viewed within the church, Most of the records are on micro-fiche.

why don't you try to ask your statistics office about records of her. it will be really hard for you because she dates back as a family member since world war 2. many records have been lost during the war. try to see the statistics office or even a government office and ask them on how can you search her. ask also other people that you know or think knows her. they might know where can she be found or where was her when they last saw her.

good luck on your search
