Cyrus the Great, Alexander the Great, Julius Ceasar, Charles de Gaul, Winston Churchill, Ghandi, ML King Jr., There are so many, no man has been most influential but rather alot. each period in time is different. But then again im obssessed with Persia so I would have to say Cyrus the Great. Why?

Because:

1. Father of the Biggest Empire the world has ever seen.
2. Great Military leader.
3.Implementation of one of the first monotheistic religions (Zoroastrianism)
4. Against Slavery
5. Creator of first charter of human rights (In U.N headquarters replica)
6. Freed JEws and aloowed them refuge in Persia.
Funny thing is Im french. I wrote my thesis on Achamenid Dynasty and i was fascinated, but theyre are hundreds of other influential men but he was a great ruler well ahead of his time. hope this helps, Peace

There may be a tie between Jesus, Moses, and Mohammed. All three were behind the founding of religions that have had the most to do with shaping at least Western thought.

Mayer Amshel (Rothschild)

In ancient history, I'm gonna go with the Emperor Constantine, who adopted Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire allowing the faith to thrive and spread across Europe.

In the contemporary world, I'll say Bill Gates. His technological advances have literally changed the face of the world. His work led to revolutions in communications and information.
