Since about 1643, France has been slowly revolving at about 1 degree per year, with Bourges acting as its axis. Originally, geologists predicted that France would come to a rest in 2003 after completing one full turn.

However, as you know, it is now 2008 and the French Revolution is still continuing steadily. This has caused some amount of controversy among tectonicologists. There are two prevailing theories that explain this phenomenon.

1) The Revolution will continue for another complete turn, or until the Castro family no longer controls Cuba, whichever happens first.

2) France will continue revolving indefinitely, however, it will gradually slow down to two-thirds of its speed each year.

The French Revolution remains a geological anomaly of which we know very little. As for getting laid, I suggest you try taking a shower, you filthy Frenchman.
