many went into hiding.

This means that they hid in an underground web of "safe houses" where pro-jewish people would let Jewish people on the run hide in their houses for a while, if not for long periods of time.

The rest, who were caught by Nazi's were probably liberated by the Allies (near the end of WWII) before they were killed in a concentration camp or from imprisonment.

they either got the h*ll out of dodge before things got really nasty or they survived the concentration camps

beat up hitler

The......war........ended

they were liberated by the allies before they could be killed. or they fled Nazi Germany and surrounding countries before the war started

Some were able to hide. Others who were skilled workers also survived because skilled workers got better treatment in the concentration camps. Unfortunately, the rest of the Jews usually go directly to the gas chamber.

It just wasn't their time to die. Some left the country, others survived the camps. But the bottom line is it just wasnt their time.
