I suppose you could say that Hitler was personally defeated when he committed suicide in a bunker in Berlin. Germany formally surrendered shortly after that.
The tripartite pact was Germany, Italy, and Japan agreeing not to work against each other and co-operate in a limited fashion. Basically a formal agreement of alliance.

hitler was shot in the head, suspected suicide, but there are other theories about. I believe he was either in Berlin or at his home in the mountains.

when the red army invaded berlin and then Hitler killed himself on april 25 1945. I guess you could say, what contributed to his defeat were things like the allied invasion of italy, the success of D-day and the allied invasions of the beaches of normandy, the fact that the americans joined the war after they were attacked by Japan and so fourth. Apparentlly, when the beaches of normandy were invaded, teh germans needed to move some tanks to a crutial area but no one wanted to wake up hitler (who was taking a nap) to ask his permission - this apparently gave the allies a leg up and helped them to break the german line.

History books will say he committed suicide, so there is your answer. They say he did this after mussolini was hung in the main part of the town and basically became a human pinata....

They say that he did not want to go like this, so he committed suicide...

Personally, i don't believe this....i believe he found a new friend named Fidel and he went into hiding while basically helping run Cuba....Because the timing fits perfectly....right when hitler "committed suicide" was when Fidel Castro started thinking about going all communist and stuff.....think about it.....do some research....

Hitler was defeated at Stalingrad and Normandy, and points in between.

There were some sub-plots in Italy and North Africa, in the air over Britain and on the Atlantic Ocean.

The Battle of Stalingrad was the begiining of the end for Hitler. Then in Berlin as was lost as the Russian army closed in and he committed suicide rather than be captured.
