Nobility.

By definition lords are part of the nobility.

While it could be argued that they are part of the "gentry," that's debatable. The nobility is a class higher than the gentry, they are not the same thing.
The gentry are generally more of the wealthy or popular, while the nobility are because of their birth or appointment.

Usually both, always Nobility.
Gentry is a specifiic breed of Noble, specifically one that owns land, and consequently, the people on it.
