Which government and which peoples?

well government is elected by a general election,, all political parties issues their manifestos in which they give detail about what is their program for their term in office, and when they get in and form the new government, they are suppost to do all the things that they promised ,and when they do not follow their manifesto they are in truth betraying all the people who votedfor them,

"First peoples?" What a curious expression. Where? When? If not Adam and Eve, how do we know who was first? Where do we stand in this chain of apprearances.? Surely we're not last; we're scarcely formed as it is.

Could this be a new PC term for American Indians? They did not all spring full grown from primeval forests.

Whatever the meaning, the answer is no. They weren't part of the governed, hence not part of the government.

The US Supreme Court first recognized American Indians as wards of the US Government in the 1820s, just before the Cherokee nation got thrown off their lands and out of the states.
