Sure, I can give you one difference in the way the First World War and the Second World War were perceived:

For the First World War VERY few people go on and on about how Eric von Falkenhayn was a master strategist, and a great leader like they do for Hitler in World War II. We are lucky that the First World War cannot, and will not, be interpreted by the actions of one German leader.

For the Second World War, very few people go on and on about soldiers attacking fortified positions, which they certainly did in the Second World War. Many are still of the same opinion that there were only trenches and direct assaults in the First World War.

The big differences lie in the way these wars were fought, and how they are interpreted by those who only have a narrow understanding of both wars.

p.s. Thanks for the thumbs down - I take those as a compliment.

my god ! The similarities or parallelism is glaring,
blinding me from seeing "big differences" between the "causes"

World War I was the reason for World War II. One thing is that in World War I the Ottoman Empire masacured Armenians (my people although we are not really allowed to learn about it in school). Then in one of Hitler's famous speeches about killing Jews he specifically refrenced World War I saying "After all who remembers the Armenian?"

world domination is really the big difference, and revenge Hilter was really big on extracting revenge on his enemy the jew.
