Help, Elizabethan times?

Question:So we are doing shakespeare and we have to do this huge project to understand Romeo and Juliet better. I am doing the topic of "Social Class." Does any one have any information of how social class was back then? Please no Wikipedia as the teacher said so! Examples would include:

1. How the rich and the poor lived;
2. What did the rich and the poor do that was different from eachother.

it would help if we knew what era or country you are actually asking about. Shakespeare's country England? or Romeo and Juliet's Italy?
there's plenty of history books on either. check the library.
