Question:hours of your life you've wasted doing this crud? like the higher 'rank you have the more wasted time answering bullony questions...
Although the idea that Jesus and his disciples used a healing cannabis ointment may seem far-fetched at first, when weighed against the popular alternative (one that is held by millions of believers) that Jesus performed his healing miracles magically, through the power invested in him by the omnipotent Lord of the Universe, the case for ancient accounts of medicinal cannabis seems a far more likely explanation.

Indeed, it was through the dawning of the Spirit, provided by the entheogenic and healing anointing oil, that the early followers of Jesus came to consider themselves Christians, or Anointed-Ones! Ironically, many modern day Christians zealously persecute marijuana culture, unaware that the name of their faith makes reference to a psychoactive topical ointment that was rich in cannabis.

As for your point about answering 'baloney' questions - well, if you see they are bad questions, don't answer them. Don't waste your own time - look for the questions from people who really want good answers and who deserve it, I.E not lazy school kids who can't be bothered to do their own homework.

Secondly, there is no evidence against the use of drugs at this period in time. It is quite possible that 'Jesus' and anyone he was connected to may have used something that we class as an illegal substance now, simply because it was a widepsread thing to use then anyway. The drugs that we abuse now once had healing properties, and were used around the world for that and shamanic purposes (although not in this particular example). So really you can't say that the ointment theory is untrue, as you have no evidence whatsoever that it isn't.

History research, as i keep saying, has it's foundations in FACTS. Unless you supply those facts, you cannot make a judgement on the courses of history, you can only go out and explore more and research deeper until you find something of substance. The use of this drug may not have been mentioned simply because it was so commonplace to use it, there are many cultures around the world that use 'annointing' oils, and many of them have contained hallucinogenic or relaxant drugs at some point or another (some still do).

Although the paragraphs you have quoted make sense to me, i will not judge it as history simply because someone has written it. It is a theory, and as a theory you should respect it. That's what history is all about....

Are you in drugs?

That makes me feel better, I will light this spliff in the name of our Lord, Amen.

..are you saying God's wants us to get high?..Somehow, I think not.

yeah right....

well these "wasting our time on this crud" is actually helping some people you know

go to bed or something normal like that

Perhaps so. Along the same lines, wondering how much of your time was wasted thinking up this question and typing it in.

It is our way to do such things many people in this world are trying to surpass Jesus with our healing abilities and medicine but in some way i truly believe that we some how surpass Jesus Christ with our medicine and technology. We are able to travel to space and fly using airplanes and travel faster by ground using cars, buses, trains and many other ways of ground transportation. Where even trying to find out if the miracles the bible says about Jesus Christ in which i believe he do gives us miracles.
