1- Sir Isaac Newton: One of the greatest scientists of all time. According to Michael H Hart’s book The 100 A Ranking of the Most Influential People In History, Newton came 2nd right after Muhammad the prophet of Islam & before Jesus Christ!

2- Christopher Columbus: He came 9th in Hart’s list. Surely a great figure for the Geographical discovery

3- Nicholas Copernicus: He came 19th in Hart’s list

4- Martine Luther: The religious reformation was a very important feature of the renaissance, & Martine Luther was its greatest figure. He came 25th in Hart’s list

William Shakespeare came 31st. But Personally, my ranking for the renaissance would be: (Newton, Columbus, Da Vinci, Luther). I can’t imagine the renaissance without Da Vinci & his contributions.

well I'm reading this section in h.s world history right now so I'll guess I'll say:
Michelangelo because the statue of David is wicked
Leonardo Da Vinci hello!!!! he painted the Mona Lisa
Henry VIII BECAUSE I CAN :)
And William Shakesphere because hes like the best and he write killer plays.
don't you love thou Romeo and Juliet :) lol

Christopher Columbus: Didn't actually discover N. America first, but his "discovery" lead to colonialism and imperialism in the Americas.
Martin Luther: Was a great leader in the Reformation and his influence brought about various forms of Catholicism, and led to various sects in religion.
Copernicus and Newton: Studies and theories radically changed thoughts of science that challenged authority of Catholic Church.
