Who is the most interesting American historical figure?

Question:I have always admired the early Astronauts. To think of just how antiquated some of those early space ships were makes you really admire their courage.

I vote for Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin for being the first humans to fly to another planet.

Franklin Roosevelt.

John F. Kennedy, because we will never truly know who and why he was killed. Haven't seen anybody since, that can bring together the american people like he did. Its just so much secrecy/theories around him as president, that makes him so interesting.

Theodore Roosevelt. Naturalist, historian, author, rancher, cowboy, boxer, wrestler, NYC police chief, NY Governor, war hero, VP, President, peacemaker, builder of modern US Navy, builder of Panama canal, explorer (of Africa), third party candidate who nearly won the presidency again, explorer (of the Amazon), and overall one of the greatest Americans to ever live.

Abraham Lincoln!!! A nobody from nowhere who was able to prove that the Freedom we have in the United States can let you go from nothing to any where you want to go!! He also did decide that the Country could not be divided and had to remain as one!!
