AD stands for Anno Domini which is latin for "Year of our Lord", meaning the year in which Christ was born. It does NOT stand for "after death".

BC stands for Before Christ.

you got it right

it's actually BC and AD (after death)

Yes, it's BC and AD

everyone is wrong.

B.C. Is before christ, and A.D. stands for Anno Domini [which is latin for "the year of our lord"]

yeah it's BC(before Christ). .

BC came first. Then came AC

AC?-AD

BC-Before Christ
AD-Is what the people said about the Latin phrase.

Think about it. If BC is Before Christ, and AD was after death, what about the years in between?

Actually in this politically era of ours the preferred terms are:

BCE= before the Common era

CE= Common era
