I think Tennessee Williams could take Capote in a fight easily. He was bigger.Both were drunks so it would have been interesting to watch.

I know it sounds awful to say, but I really didn't enjoy "Breakfast and Tiffanys." GASP!

That's not really a fair fight at all. Williams was MUCH more prolific than Capote. Capote had basically only TWO novels in his entire career. On the other hand, BOTH of them were best-sellers. That's batting 1000.

Tennessee, certainly. Capote had moments of brilliance, certainly, and kept excellent company (Harper Lee). However, Williams pen poured AWESOME, not ink. I don't think Williams wrote a single work that didn't captivate imaginations, or give us a bit of insight about ourselves.
