Do you think Maryland is one of the most important state in the U.S?

Question:It has all this historical stuff about the presidents, the white house, NSA, and the president ( i dont think currently now) and if you have any more reasons please post them and if i got some facts wrong please correct me.

i live in maryland and there is a lot of history here but i think you're confusing maryland with the district of columbia (washington d.c.).......washington is not a part of maryland

No it isn't. The most important ones are hawaii, california, and florida.

Washington DC, where all the stuff you are talking about, is not part of any state. Its just by itself

I would think (just my opinion) it would be California. Because it is the third largest economy in the world by itself.
