Question: When making a family tree, does the father or mother go on the left side!?

I'm making a family tree for school and am not sure whether or not my father should go on the left!.!.!.!.!. i've seen it both ways!. Thanks in advance!! ~Indie GWww@QuestionHome@Com

Normally the male goes on the left!. If you follow this method, it will be much easier for you to read other trees, and also for people to read yours!. A few people do it the other way, but the traditional way is for the males to be on the left!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

normally the father goes on the left- but there are many diffrent styles of 'trees' you can choose from!.!.!. but it really comes down to what you like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
