Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think it could be Iranian as well, Farjam is a surname found in Iran!. Of course the British called Iran 'Persia' then but Britain traded with them so that might be the connection, maybe he was initially a sailor on a trade route who settled in the UK!. The British also had trading agents in Iran and the Gulf States, so there might also have been agents from these countries in Britain and he could have been one of them!. Either way it sounds as though you've got some interesting research coming up ! Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Mortezan sounds Persian/Iranian!.Www@QuestionHome@Com dunnoWww@QuestionHome@Com all I can say its neither Arabic nor Polish!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
