A city directory would proably be the easiest way to find out who was living there!. If that doesn't pan out check land records!. It may not be very helpful in finding out if a renter lived there, but you can at least find out who the owners were!. From there you might luck out and be able to get your hands on a lease or receipt from a local historic society!.

Before you begin I'd suggest checking the street name changes and getting the parcel number, just to be sure you're investigating the correct property!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you live in Philadelphia, or near it, go to the public library and look in the reverse directory section of the 1909 city directory!. (There was a 6-12 month lag time between gathering the data and publishing it!.)

You could also send them a small donation, a SASE and a request, or try a post on a RAOGK board!.

The 1910 census is indexed by name, not location!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
