Question: Looking for some good advice from people who have searched for someone they didn't know!.!.!.!.!?
I was adopted when I was younger (26 now) and have recently wanted to begin looking for my birthparents!. It was a closed adoption (I was taken away by CPS and wasn't adopted through an agency) and all I have to go on is my last name, birthday and the hospital where I was born!. I've already gone online to sign up for online registries but those only work if they're looking for me as well!. Anyone else have any ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you know the hospital you were born in, try taking out ads in the local paper asking for info on your family name, birth date, and hosp info!. Chances are someone may respond!. You could give it a shot!.
As for the parents not wanting info given, then they should have thought about that before now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your adoptive parents should have gotten paperwork with some kind of background on your family!.
My cousin was looking for her daughter and the daughter happened to be on one of those online registries!. So that does work sometimes
also, look for a birth index for the state you were born in, then the date!. It may have your original birth information, such as mother's maiden name!.
Look for birth announcements a few days after you were born!. It will list your birth parent's names!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
