This is very interesting!. I am having a similar situation!. I am doing genealogy on my family and my mother is upset with her father and has been for quite some time now!. She does not want to tell her children why but little did she know I have a source that did tell me why!. But she don't know what!. Well, every other part of my line will have information except that line because I cannot find any information him!. I do know that he is currently living in Florida!. Me and my sister both want to know who he is!. I would like to talk to him!. I have never met him!. I know his first and last name!. Yes but my mother is not interested in contacting him, talking to him or anything else!. No matter how important it is to me!. I will find a way!. I just don't know what to expect once I do find him!. If I ever do!. So I know what you are going through at minimal!. My mother was not adopted, neither was I!. But I know how you feel!. Sooner or later I will be on here asking someone about this!. Not yet though!. You are not alone!.

You need your Fathers date of birth and the Place of birth and his birth name with out his Information I do not see how you can proceed!.

If you get on well with you dad (not always easy) point out that you could do with his family's medical history, we can be victims of our ancestors genes!. Trust Me
