Question: Origin of Ukrainian last name!?

I have a friend that has been looking for some time what his last name means and we have exhausted our internet possibilities!. Does anyone have an idea of what the last name "Filonienko" (also can be spelled "Filonenko") means in Ukrainian!? It would be incredibly helpful if someone knows!. The Ukrainian ending "-enko" is a patronymic, i!.e!. "son of" whoever!.
The first element could be the Greek name "Philo/Philon"!. There is an Orthodox saint called Philo, so it's a possible name for a Ukrainian man!. Thus, "son of Philo"!. I'm not saying that's definitely the origin, but it's possible!. Try following it up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
