Nathaniel Elkins son of William and Elizabeth Dickey Elkins, married Temperance "Tempy" Amos in 1853, Roane Co!. TN!.
I have "Tempy" remarried to Edmond Waller in 1880 census with several Waller children!. Nathaniel Elkins may have been killed in the Civil War!.!.I don't really know at this point!.!. I lived in Roane county for a time!.!. and they have some incredible researchers and collections there!. Most of the records are intact, as I recall!. You would need to find the correct marriage date for Edmond and Tempy!. Looking at the children in the home in 1880, you cannot be sure which are her children or his!.!. but there is a gap of 5 yrs between the youngest and the next youngest!.
