Well, I'm from Malaysia and a Malay!.!.Some Malay are Arab descent!.!.but i don't think i am!.!.I could also be english, portuguese, dutch, chinese and indian!.!. because the english, portuguese and dutch were in Malaysia!.!.and there is a vast community of chinese and indian in Malaysia!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ancestry by DNA is called the autosomal test!. I and my family had several different DNA tests because we are Pacific Islander with a mixed race heritage including Aboriginal australian so we can not define our ancestry by written records !. Maybe you will have more answers this way too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do a search on the web, everyone has a cousin that they haven't seen in years who has done some of the research already!. in a search engine type in
(your last name)+genealogy
you can also try
(your last name)+family
