Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It is generally believed that the original skin colors of humanity were dark ones (consistent with the out of Africa theory)!. White skin is really "clear" skin that shows the white material under the skin!. White skin is a mutation that shows up even today in Africa!. --- Natural selection favored white skin in europe because it helped in the production of vitamin D in the low sunlight!. As a byproduct it increased the chance of skin cancer, but that tended to affect people after child bearing age!. It may have spread through sexual selection!. --- Indigenous people that live at northern latitudes who also eat primarily fish (Inuit, and Siberian peoples) have dark skin today since they got their vitamin D through diet!. --- The genes that cause the white skin mutation are not going to dissapear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The "Big Bang Theory" is widely accepted, even though it breaks all the thermonuclear laws!. Darwinism is widely accepted, even though all evidence is to the contrary!. "Out of Africa" is widely accepted, but if you read the science news, people lived in France more than 1,000,000 (ONE MILLION) years before they "came out of Africa"!. By color, the most numerous humans are yellow (Chinese, Japanese, et al)!. In second place are the black people!. In third place are the brown people (the Philippines, Malaysia, et al)!. In fourth place are the white people (so-called Caucasians, even though that is not the origin of whites)!. In last place are the red people, or Native Americans!. So, since the so-called experts have guessed at everything else, they can't answer this question!. (Back in the '60s they claimed that humans would grow feet like a frog and learn to swim and live in the seas without artificial aid!) So, using common sense, MOST LIKELY is that something entirely different will happen! Either a blending of all 5 colors or a new color will emerge!. After all, most of this is changed by diet! By way of contrast, in 1950, "whites" comprised 28 percent of the world's population while "blacks" made up 9 percent of the world's peoples!. Moreover, by 2060, Arabic populations, which are often counted as "white" (along with various Hispanic ethnic groups) by the US Census, will make up 75 percent of the world's white population--or so it's predicted!. However, these are just predictions! Consequently, in the US, the black birthrate is not much higher than the white birthrate!. The Japanese, for example, have a birth rate way below replacement rate, and the Chinese and Indians are headed for monumental problems since they often abort or abandon girl babies!. ---Having a large family (of at least four children) along with a stay-at-home mom truly indicates wealth and status, so such families have become a trend among very wealthy Americans!. Then again, adopting a child from Africa (after the fashion of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Madonna) has also become the ultimate status symbol!. Perhaps, we need to be talking about income and educational status rather than race!? ---Some religious groups, most notably the Church of Latter Day Saints in the US Intermountain West and white, American evangelical Christians in the American South, have larger families than other populations!. Moreover, the South, the Midwest, and the Intermountain West have higher birth rates than the Northern and Pacific Coast US (the traditional "Blue" or Democratic States")!. Incidentally, these religious groups are growing in population while "mainstream" Protestant groups are declining!. Interestingly enough, the largest growth of Christianity is in sub-Saharan Africa, which means continuing strife between Muslims and Christians as they battle for turf!. ---Not everyone wants to live in Iceland, Idaho or North Dakota, USA, Alberta, Canada, the Australian Outback, or the Highlands of Scotland (areas with extremely high concentrations of whites)!. Then again, not everyone wants to live in Siberia or Mongolia!. Therefore, don't expect a lot of intermarriage of various population groups within these regions!. ---Population is controlled by death rates as well as birth rates!. Unfortunately, for Africa, AIDS has devastated a continent!. Moreover, while in the Western World AIDS is morphing into a chronic disease, in Africa and much of the Third World, AIDS is very much a fatal illness!. ---Actually, in places like the United States, except in certain geographical regions, there won't be a "majority" race; everyone will under certain circumstances be a minority!. Already, within certain geographical areas, such as South Texas, "Anglos" already can legitimately be considered a minority (if one adheres to the mathematic definition)!. ---As California goes, so goes the US; as the US goes, so goes the world--up to a point!. Not everyone wants to be a Californian, which means not everyone will want to intermarry people from another ethnic or racial group not because they are racists, but because Christians will continue to marry Christians for the most part, Muslims will continue to marry Muslims, and so on wherever people continue to allow their church or mosque to influence their social lives!. (Europeans please note that for the most part black and white Christians in the US attend different churches--except perhaps near neighboring universities and colleges!. Moreover, some denominations, such as the Lutherans and Presbyterians, have very few black members!.) Besides, in politically-correct speak, the US is no longer a melting pot, but a mixed buffet, so there's room for all kinds of ethnic groups!. In Europe, some "ethnic European Christians" may marry Muslims, but don't look for any mixing the other way around!. Furthermore, the growth of Islamic populations in Europe may eventually strengthen European Christianity even if this originally comes by way of the native French openly eating pork!.
