no, not related by bloodWww@QuestionHome@Com

No!. You are not related to your cousin's cousin!. Look at it this way: Your cousins on your mom's side of your family are not related to your cousin's on your dad's side of your family because they do not share the same grandparents!. You being cousins to each side does not tie them together and make them related to each other!. Same thing goes for your cousin!. You are her cousin on one side of her family and the other person is her cousin on the other side of her family and she does not tie you and the other cousin together and make you related!. You and her other cousin do not share the same grandparents, so you cannot be related!.

The fact that she added you on facebook is not relavent to the question and it was unnecessary to even include that information!. Her adding you on facebook does not make you cousins!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A cousin is a blood relative with whom you share a common ancestor!. A family tree has two sides - the paternal side (your fathers) and the maternal side (your mothers)!.

A first cousin can be the child of one of either of your mum and dads brothers and sisters (your aunts and uncles)!. Your cousins on your mums side will all share the same maternal ancestor as you (your mums parents) and the cousins on your dads side will share the same paternal ancestor as you on your dads side!. But one of your mums cousins and dads cousins wouldn't be related to each other, as neither of them share the same common ancestor with each other!. It's quite possible though that you could unknowingly be much more distant cousins and share an ancestor much further back in time - say sixth or seventh cousin (each sharing the same 6xgt grandparent for example), but it would be hard to prove without research!.

Generally though, you'd only be cousins by marriage, not blood, which isn't really a cousin at all in the strictest sense of the word!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No they are not related to you!. Unless your parent is her moms brother or sister, or her fathers brother or sister; there's no relation!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
