Isaac Gelbert born in Russia (or Eastern European countries like Poland), on July 16th 1878 who moved to America, and died on 12/29/1955!. He also sometimes changed his name to Ike or Gilbert!. I can't find his immigration record or his parents anywhere!. I'm also looking for Sarah Scher or Sher, born about 1884
Austria (Or Eastern Europe, like Galicia Poland) and she died 12/21/1957!. She also moved to America

I did a quick check on Ancestry!.com, and found a family tree with them in it, but it did not give either of their parents names!. The naturalization record and census records indicated that he was born in Russia, and she was born in Austria; that he came over in 1902 and she came in 1903; and they had one daughter, Bella born about 1917, died in 1984, and married to a Victor V!. Parker!. I found some other Gelberts on the passenger list for the "Chemnitz" which shipped out of Bremen, Germany, and landed in Baltimore in September of 1905, plus a couple of later ones, but the dates of birth were way off!.
Sorry I couldn't be more help at this time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
