Question: Is it possible for a 13 year old to develop ADD!?
I can't seem to focus on anything anymore!. I'm getting sick of work at school and i stop halfway through my homework and start another assignment!. I have to work on a huge project due next Thursday but I just can't bring myself to start it!. My friends are starting to annoy me and I have no idea why!.
Plus, my temper seems to be getting worse than it was before!. I was wondering if that had to do with anything!.
Thanks in advance! :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

We still don't know much about ADD, but it's typically thought of as a developmental delay!.

It's therefore unlikely that someone would regress!.

There can be many things going on with you, however!. At 13, it could simply be side-effects of puberty!. Your body and mind are still adjusting!.

It could be mild depression!. It would be that you're dealing with new situations and are having trouble handling them!.

Best to speak to a counselor at school, who can point you to a school psychologist, social worker, or learning disabilities specialist to get a first level screening!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
