Question: Does anybody know why Martin and Sue from Essex fm!?

I heard an announcement this morning saying Martin and Sue had been removed from the Essex FM morning show due to something that happened on fridays show does any one know what happened!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

i was listening to the show on the way back from the school run!.!. and martin got a bit carried away with ideas for the headline on the boy scout story with the proposed introduction of condoms for scouts!.

the one line that made me LOL (yeah!.!. i must have looked like a right lunatic) was "dibb dobb dobb cover up your ****" but he stopped short of finishing the sentence anyway!.!. so i cant see how that could have caused a fuss!?!?!?!?

i think its ridiculous to take them off the air for that!.!. theyve had far more delicate arguements in the past!.!.!. if i could find the petition to get them back on air, id go sign it!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Essex FM DJs Martin and Su off the air

TWO popular presenters have been removed from a breakfast radio show after making lewd comments about Boy Scouts!.

DJs Martin Day and Su Harrison, who present the Essex FM breakfast show, were replaced on Monday's programme by other presenters from the radio station!.

Listeners were given an apology for the content of Martin and Su’s show on Friday, but fans have been stunned by the pair’s absence and many are campaigning for their return!.

Chris Cotton, the station’s programme controller, said: “I can’t really go into it based on the nature of the comments that were made!. But it wasn’t an insult!.

“Martin and Su haven’t been removed permanently!."

Some fans are planning to protest outside the station’s offices in Chelmsford on Tuesday morning!.

Tania Furber, 32, of St John’s Way, Corringham, said: “Lots of us are planning to protest with banners!. I love them, they wake me up in the morning!. Nothing else compares!.

“They just like a joke!. It’s not fair they have gone off air!.”
