This is not how you determine relationships!. You have to go back to the ancestor you have in common to determine your relationship!.!.!.!.not "grandmother's dad's uncle"!. In this case, the common ancestor is the ancestor who is her grandparents, but is your great-great-great-grandparents!. That makes your relationship to Elizabeth Montgomery first cousins 3x removed!. Your grandmother's father is your great-grandfather!. His uncle would be brother to your great-great-grandparent!. So you have to go back one more generation to the parent of your great-great-grandparent and their brother, which would be your great-great-great grandparent!. To figure out her side, it is your great-grandparent's uncle's child, so it would be your great-great-grandparent's brother's child, which is your great-great-great-grandparent's grandchild!.
