No, there is no national database for medical records!. They are not kept online either!. They can ONLY be obtained from the office of the doctor that created the record!. You can POSSIBLY obtain SOME information from the insurance company that paid for the doctor visit, as they usually require to know what they are paying for before they will pay the doctor for your visit / treatment!. If this is for your children, you may be able to at least obtain immunization information from their school!. Otherwise, there is not much that can be done to re-create your medical records!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Any medical record is the property of the Dr or hospital!. No database, national or otherwise!.
Assuming that YOU are the person involved (or your child), you might contact the involved office!. SOME Drs might have computerized files (by choice), and if lucky, there may have been a backup stored offsite!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
