It's whatever you wish it to be!. No one is a certain nationality by descent as if that was the case we'd all have to class ourselves as sub Saharan Africans!.

I consider myself British as I feel it notes the island of my birth, but you can class yourself as East Anglia, English-American-Irish!. or Martian, whatever you feel!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you were born in England, your nationality is English!.
You are, in common with everyone else, of mixed ancestry,
most recently a mix of English, Irish and American nationalities, ALL of your ancestors, no matter where they were born, were also a mix of other "nationalities", so it is really meaningless to talk about being a half this or three quarters that!. We have all absorbed the genes of many people from many regions over a great many years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

By ethicity, you're 50% English (1/4 from both parents), 1/4 Irish from Dad, and 1/4 American from Mom!.

By nationality, you're English

By culture you're what you identified with as you grew up

The word I think you intend to use is "descent"
