No one is a certain nationality by descent as if that was the case we'd all have to class ourselves as sub Saharan Africans!. You are, in common with everyone else, of mixed ancestry, most recently a mix of English, Irish and American nationalities, ALL of your ancestors, no matter where they were born, were also a mix of other "nationalities", so it is really meaningless to talk about being a half this or three quarters that!.
