The above opens up to the catalogue mentioned above in their email to you!. To find people named in the database, just enter a name in the "PersonKey" field!. A surname is usually sufficient!. If you want to add a forename, render the name as "Smith,John" Again, not all the records in the database have been indexed in this way!. If you do not find the person you are looking for by using the "PersonKey" field, try using the "AnyText" field instead!.

The Date field
The date field enables you to define your search more precisely!.
You can enter dates in several different ways:
a particular year: 1879
a range of years: 1850-1900
a century: 19th cent

(I tried 4 different times with various entries, and got " No records match your search!. Please search again, or have a look at the help page:" each time!.)

(In case you wondered, a Constable in England refers to a police officer,
so the "Rural Constabulary" mentioned in their email back to you would be similar to your county Sheriff's department or even Highway Patrol)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
