My name is Kelley,but i'm bored with it!. I want something more fancy and people spell my name wrong all the time anyways, i'm used to correcting people, so that won't be a problem if i change it to Kelleigh, they might pronounce it wrong but i still like the name!.

I think in general, the spelling of KELLEIGH is okay, but I wonder if it would be confused with KAYLEIGH or you would be called KEELEIGH!. If this wouldn't annoy you, then what's stopping you changing it!? Personally it annoys me when people misread my name and assume its pronounciation, so I wojuldn't encourage a name that might do this, but if you like it, then do it! It doesn't have to be an official spelling change!. My mother's called Sally and she goes by Sallie!. Officially she's still Sally, but she uses the other spelling in her job and with friends!. If it's not an official change, you can see how you get along with the new spelling, and revert back to the old spelling if you have any problems!. If Kelley is on your birth certificate, changing the spelling could cause some problems unless you go the legal route to get all your records changed, including Social Security!. Credit cards and bank account!. And think what could happen if you start signing papers with Kelligh instead of Kelley!? How about a driver's license!? You will have to change that as well, if you have one!. There may be other records you will have to change as well!.
