Question: Does anyone know when the 1940 census records will be released to the public!? !?

Just curious about it!. My mom was born in 1941, so she won't appear on it!. But my grandparents and my auntie would!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wow, you guys are lucky!. In England we have to wait 100 years for the censuses to be released!. The 1911 census will be released in 2012, but I really need the1921 census and it's so hard waiting 14 years! Www@QuestionHome@Com

The federal government keeps the census records private for 72 years!. The 1940 census records will be available some time in 2012!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It takes 70 years for a full goverment census to be released!. They just released the 1930's census!. Best wishes!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
